SCF Announces First Ever Music For The Sole Fundraiser

LOVE MUSIC? MOVE TO THE GROOVE WITH MUSIC FOR THE SOLE

Join runners, choristers, musicians and fellow music lovers on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:00am as they gather at the MacKenzie Art Gallery for the first ever Music For The Sole fundraiser walk/run to support choirs and music programming in Saskatchewan. Proudly brought to you by the Saskatchewan Choral Federation in partnership with the Running Room and the MacKenzie Art Gallery, Music For The Sole is an innovative fundraiser designed to benefit choirs and celebrate music in Saskatchewan while encouraging an active lifestyle.

Participants will collect pledges to support their involvement in their choice of a 5 or 10 km walk or run around Regina’s beautiful Wascana Lake.  Funds raised by participating choir members will directly benefit their choirs - up to 60%!  This is a great way for your choir to raise money for upcoming travel or new music purchases.

Incorporating a “parade in reverse” design, participants will get to hear singers and musicians performing as they make their way along the route. Don’t miss out - this will be a race like no other!
